Our Open Strength is the first class we offered at our studio after private training. Our exercise selection is designed so you can start working towards your goals from the very first session.
You will increase strength and muscle using resistance bands, weighted vests, sand bags, free weights, vibration platforms and your own body weight. You will learn how short simple workouts is all that is required for results with your exercise.
Technique and posture is monitored throughout ensuring you can continue to develop strength over the longer term. Includes some rope / cardio training to conclude the session.
Boxing for fitness including Vibration Training offers all of the usual benefits of Boxing, like increased fitness, endurance, advanced fat loss, core strength and stress relief, along with the circulation and muscle stimulation that vibration training provides. We ensure you learn how to punch properly and maintain correct technique throughout the session, specifically with time spent on the focus mitts with your trainer.. This session concludes with a muscle conditioning resistance circuit, including the use of battle ropes and resistance bands. This adds a little more muscle tone benefits as well as boosting of your metabolism. Our boxing & fitness session cater for beginners right through to experienced clients, with each station having regression or progression options to suit. The circuit includes a core strength station each round as well.Nothing to bring! All equipment is provided, including gloves and inners
Our Strength Seniors Class uses simple body weight exercises, resistance bands, weighted vests, some free weights and sandbags as along with Whole Body Vibration Training. See our Vibration Training Page for more information on how it will accelerate your results with exercise.
Regardless of your exercise history or current fitness levels our Strength Seniors Program is designed that you can start to work towards your goals from the very first session.
By increasing your strength & muscle it will have many positive effects on your life. Including improving balance and falls prevention, keeping joints healthy and bones strong as well as overall fitness.
Full body resistance circuit, utilising the most number of exercises of any of our classes, using a 30 sec work and 15 sec rest protocol.
You will work opposing muscle groups throughout the circuit, which allows you to train hard then get some sort of a rest in each body part. All exercises are large compound movements and designed keep balance in the circuit.
This class will get your heart rate up, help you de stress whilst, increasing your metabolism and muscle tone.
A real "FEEL GOOD" session
TFM's version of HIIT, is a fast paced session with variety of exercise selection paramount, including some explosive plyometric style exercises. Designed for clients with a minimum of average mobility.
However we can find alternatives to certain exercises if required.
We use our vibration platforms to help accelerate your results, especially the jumping exercises.
Equipment you may use includes: Kettlebells, resistance bands, weighted vests, sand bags, free wights, medicine balls, ropes and slam balls.
Our Cardio Class is suitable for most levels of fitness. Utilising freestyle movements, including some boxing and martial arts combinations.
Intervals of 30sec work and 15sec rest are used throughout. These intervals allow you to work at your own pace, with of course encouragement from your coach when required.
The boxing and upper body movements work well when combined with your lower body for a total body workout.
Expect to get your heart rate up and enjoy some of the stress relieving movements we have created.
